Is the bird being swallowed or escaping? The question remains unanswered. Both meaning the same: she said something she wished she hadn't. The character holds good intentions and wishes to speak out loud. To hold space for herself, however, the anxiety eats away at her.
The subtle heart silhouette of the character tries to depict that her intentions are heartfelt.
